Who is the Author?

Hey, I’m Roger Huang, the author behind Would Mao Hold Bitcoin. I was born in China, but raised in Canada. I became fascinated with bitcoin as early as 2013 – I couldn’t quite find my way around describing exactly why, so I started diving into it by meeting bitcoin supporters and writing about the topic. I’ve since been published in a bunch of outlets including my perch at Forbes, an early mention of one altcoin in 2013 for TechCrunch, and the role bitcoin might play in remittances with VentureBeat in 2013 as well.

I’m deeply curious about the world – and want to share things I’ve learned in a fun, informative and engaging manner. I hope you’re able to learn from and enjoy Would Mao Hold Bitcoin!
